Waitrose have a go hero sacked... public outcry

It is widely reported that a Waitrose worker was sacked when confronting a known thief stealing Lindt Easter eggs. Mr. Walker Smith got the eggs back but he was later sacked following company policy which forbids employees getting involved. The public outcry against Waitrose has been immense with the vast majority of people calling on Waitrose to think again and give him back his job.

A SUSPENDED SENTENCE FOR KARL TURNER MP- WITHOUT A JURY IN SIGHT!

Karl Turner has been the Labour MP since 2010. On 31st March 2026 all this changed when he learnt that the whip was being removed. It is extremely unlikely that this decision was taken by Chief Whip, Jonathan Reynolds MP, without the green light by the PM. Could this be Starmer's biggest mistake since blocking Burnham from being the Labour candidate at Gorton and Denton?
